During her over twenty years-long work experience Jasminka Marković worked in many national and international projects funded by different international organizations and donors such as the European Union, UNICEF, GIZ, World Bank, Council of Europe, European Training Foundation and more. Mrs Marković is experienced in training educational staff, including training school management, and she is the leading author or co-author of several officially accredited training programs for teachers’ professional development. She is a member of the Governing Board of DIOS – Serbian Society of Researchers in Education.
Prof. Sauer focuses not only on social policy issues of comparative welfare state research and long-term care, but also on questions of the sustainable design of labor migration, especially in the context of transnational skills partnerships. Among other things, Michael Sauer is a member of the scientific advisory board of the German Competence Center for International Health and Care Professionals (DKF) and a founding member of the German Institute for Interdisciplinary Social Policy Research (DIFIS).
Dr. Henrik Schober-Oschmann is the Vice-President Innovation and Development at XU Exponential University in Potsdam, which focuses on topics related to digitalization and digital transformation. His ambition is to empower people through education and training, and to foster common understanding, exchange and joint action among peers as well as unlikely partners. Henrik is a political scientist by training and obtained a Ph.D. from Free University Berlin. His key areas of interest include communication management, participation and co-creation. He was appointed a Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School and at Das Progressive Zentrum, and he served as expert advisor to governments and govern, think-tanks and NGOs.
Prof. Dr. Philipp Pohlenz studied at Hamburg and Potsdam Universities in Germany and earnt his doctoral degree in 2007 from Potsdam University. His fields of research are educational sociology, organizational research on higher education institutions, science management, and science communication. Prof. Polenz served as a researcher in the field of higher education development and quality assurance. Currently, he holds a Chair of Research into Higher Education and Academic Development at Otto-von-Guericke-University, Magdeburg, Germany. He gained work experiences in the context of higher education management development projects in different countries of South-East Asia, Central Asia and Africa.
Dr. Dieter Dohmen is the founder and director of the FiBS Research Institute for the Economics of Education and Social Sciences, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2023. As a practice-oriented scientist, visionary and consultant, Dieter Dohmen stands for precise analyses and differentiated recommendations to strengthen lifelong learning and to improve education systems. He is currently working as a senior expert on the vision for learning in the 21st century (Forum Bildung Digitalisierung), the school management study (Cornelsen Verlag GmbH) and current trends in continuing education in Germany (Bertelsmann Stiftung). In October 2019, his work was recognized, among other things, by his induction into the IACE Hall of Fame (International Adult and Continuing Education).
