Project Description

The assignment supports the Ready-Made Garment Sustainability Council (RSC) in Bangladesh in strengthening its organisational capacity through the integration of gender-responsive human resource management and the promotion of gender equality and women’s empowerment in the workplace. The project combines organisational assessment, policy advisory services and capacity development to help RSC establish more inclusive HR systems and foster an enabling working environment for all employees.

The assignment reviews existing HR policies and practices, identifies opportunities for improvement, and supports the further development of the organisation’s Gender Policy. Complementing this institutional strengthening process, the project delivers targeted Gender Awareness and Women’s Empowerment training programmes that apply gender-transformative and participatory learning approaches while addressing workplace bias, inclusion and safeguarding.
