Project Description
m4edu is supporting the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) in Eswatini through the National Curriculum Centre (NCC) to strengthen the Eswatini National Curriculum Framework for General Education (ENCFGE) as a foundation for future-ready, inclusive and higher-quality general education. The UNICEF Eswatini funded project combines targeted policy analysis, stakeholder engagement and evidence-based curriculum design to align the framework with national development priorities, emerging skills needs and relevant international good practice.

- Engage system stakeholders to validate strengths, gaps and reform priorities across MoET, schools, curriculum specialists, learners and development partners.
- Design the revised framework by translating review findings into an updated ENCFGE and a monitoring and evaluation framework for continuous improvement.
- Plan reform implementation through a sequenced roadmap that clarifies priorities, responsibilities and practical steps for rollout.
- Deliver decision-ready outputs including the Curriculum Review Roadmap, Draft and Final Revised ENCFGE, M&E Framework, Implementation Roadmap, Policy Brief and Final Project Report.
